This example describes a clear prototype enclosure used to view internal packaging, bosses, connectors, and assembly relationships. A polished master and silicone tool reproduce the geometry in a clear polyurethane system.

The prototype can support appearance and assembly decisions, but optical clarity, impact, heat, chemical, and long-term performance should not be assumed to match production polycarbonate or PMMA.
