Does laser marking change the part size?

Can QR codes be laser marked?

Yes, but the code size, module size, contrast and inspection method must be realistic for the surface and scanner.

Will laser marking look the same on every material?

No. Mark color and contrast vary with material, coating, texture and laser settings. Critical markings should be sampled or clearly specified.
